Outdoor Activities

With our seemingly endless coastline, water sports and fishing are always popular ways to spend a day (or two) on the Cape. Our stunning natural beauty is on full display when hiking our well-maintained nature trails, winding through wooded conservation lands and along cranberry bogs and salt marshes. Explore the Cape on a bike ride along scenic bikeways and mountain trails. Take an epic seal or whalewatching tour, or go on a sightseeing tour. Perhaps your perfect day involves lying under an umbrella at one of our sandy beaches with a good book and picnic lunch. When on land, our pristine golf courses are a golfer's dream, and a game of mini golf is a Cape Cod tradition. Many kid-approved activities are outdoors, including Hidden Hollow at Heritage Museums & Gardens and the Cape Cod Inflatable Park. The Cape Cod Baseball League, the nation’s premier summer collegiate baseball league and the launching pad for Major League talent, has free weekly games each summer. And when dusk falls, pack your blanket and hit one of these recommended spots for an amazing Cape Cod sunset.
