In 2025 and 2026, Massachusetts is marking the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution by commemorating the many battles fought across the Commonwealth that shaped the nation's path to independence.

Across Massachusetts, we are embracing our full story: honoring iconic moments, uncovering lesser-known voices, and celebrating 250 years of independence, innovation, and enduring spirit. Libraries, museums, historic sites, trails, and parks will be offering  a rich array of events — including exhibits, guided tours, educational programs, festivals, performances, and more.
