Heritage Museums & Gardens is the largest public garden in Southern New England. It is located on 100 acres of magnificent grounds and trails on the banks of Shawme Pond in Historic Sandwich. Heritage holds a significant collection of specialty gardens and water features. Hidden Hollow™, an interactive family-friendly area, allows for play and exploration of the natural world. Heritage also has three gallery buildings housing automobiles, American folk art, historical artifacts, a vintage carousel, and special exhibitions.

Wellfleet Cinemas was built in 1986 and is independently owned and operated. All four screens all equipped with Dolby Digital EX. and JBL Speakers. We now have Dolby Digital EX installed on all screens. Some customers have asked why most of the sound does not come out of the surround speakers. As you can see on the Dolby web site most of the sound is destined for the Left Front, Center Front, and Right Front speakers behind our acoustically transparent screen, were the largest speakers are.

Ellis D. Atwood gave this historic amusement park its name, his initials (E.D.A). He started this railroad by purchasing most of the surviving equipment from Maine’s once expansive network of two-foot gauge rail’s and had them trucked south to Carver, Massachusetts. This was the making of Edaville Railroad.

The Thornton W. Burgess Society is a non-profit educational organization founded in 1976 to carry on the pioneering conservation work of author/naturalist Thornton W. Burgess (1874 - 1965). Mr. Burgess, who was born and grew up in Sandwich, MA., went on to achieve national and international recognition for his childrens' stories that teach lessons of conservation and love of wildlife.
Tony Kent Arena is a year-round world-class community facility. Public Skating, hockey, and lessons available year round. For arena information call, or email [email protected]. For skating information call or email [email protected]. The Tony Kent Arena is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Cape Cod community. Each week approximately 1500 skaters, family members and friends visit the arena.
