The Coonamessett is located in the pretty, seaside village of Falmouth on Cape Cod. Near sandy beaches, picturesque harbors, galleries, antique shops, and ferries to the islands; all the beauty and adventure the Cape has to offer is yours at the gracious, glorious Coonamessett Inn.
The original residence, barn, caretaker's quarters and carriage house stand on six acres of meticulously landscaped grounds. Much of the fine interior work -- ballast brick fireplaces and wood paneling -- has retained its original beauty despite the passing of years and changing of hands. The pond, now protected as conservation land, is graced by delicate swans and geese as it must have been in colonial times.
The Coonamessett is appreciated locally and beyond as an experience in true fine dining. The Chef and his staff specialize in contemporary regional cuisine. Seafood is often featured on his menus, but not exclusively. All the food is prepared to order and no dish ever sits under a warmer.
