The Bayberry guild was formed in 1981 in Eastham by 15 students in a Nauset Adult Education Class. Membership grew rapidly and in 1986 an evening division of the guild was established. The guild is dedicated to quilting and the education of members and others in the art of quilting. Since its inception, the guild has grown to include quilters from all over Massachusetts as well as many other states. One of the most exciting aspects of the Bayberry guild is the wide range of talents in the group and the range of activities the guild is involved in.
The guild meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month (September, October, January - May) at 9:30 a.m. and at 7:00 p.m. on the Tuesday evening prior at Our Lady of Victory in Centerville.
