About the Citizen of the Year: Falmouth Citizen of the Year Nominees must live or work in Falmouth and their activities should be centered here. The Citizen of the Year will be recognized for leadership and performance above and beyond the scope of their paid profession, and they do not have to be a member of the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce. The selection will be made based on a broad scope of activities over the course of more than a year that make a lasting impact on the Falmouth community. No award will be made for a single activity, no matter how well executed, and no award is given posthumously.
