Paul headshotAs we begin 2026, it’s clear that the past year was one of meaningful transition for the Cape Cod Chamber and the organizations we support.

In 2025, we completed a merger with the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce, assumed stewardship of the Cape Cod Climate Collaborative, and launched CapeTide, a new 501(c)(3) designed to preserve a locally rooted approach to entrepreneurial mentoring and peer learning. We also continue to provide operational custody and strategic direction for the Blue Economy Foundation and the Cape Cod Economic Development Council, Inc., each advancing a distinct but connected piece of Cape Cod’s economic future.

These steps were intentional. They reflect a belief that Cape Cod is best served by organizations that are place-based, collaborative, and aligned around shared goals.

As we look ahead, our focus in 2026 is alignment—strengthening how these organizations work together through the Chamber to deliver clearer value and better service to our members and partners. Alignment is not about adding layers; it’s about sharpening focus, improving coordination, and making engagement easier.

Why does this matter to you?

Because alignment leads to action and results. It means:
• A clearer entry point to business support, mentoring, and advocacy
• Better coordination across economic development, workforce, innovation, and climate resilience
• Programs shaped by the realities of operating a business on Cape Cod

Simply put, it ensures your time, participation, and investment are respected—and effective.

Cape Cod continues to face complex challenges, from housing and workforce pressures to infrastructure needs and environmental resilience. Addressing them requires strong partnerships and broad participation from the business community, nonprofit sector, and local leaders.

That’s why I encourage businesses, organizations, and community partners to engage, participate, and help shape the work ahead—whether by joining the Chamber, getting involved with CapeTide, contributing to the Climate Collaborative, or supporting the Blue Economy Foundation and the Cape Cod Economic Development Council.

The year ahead is about turning last year’s change into shared momentum. By working together and staying aligned, we can deliver stronger services, clearer advocacy, and lasting impact for Cape Cod.

Thank you for being part of this work. I look forward to what we will accomplish together in 2026.
