RAM recognizes the effect inflation is having on our small business members and their customers—including the economic impact of increased energy costs. While there have been efforts in the past to provide families and residential utility customers with relief from the high cost of energy, the same has not been true for small businesses consumers…until now.
RAM is proud to announce that it has partnered with National Grid to administer the utility’s Small Business Energy Relief Grant Program, which will provide 250 one-time grants of $1,000 to RAM members with 150 employees or fewer, and who are electricity or gas customers of National Grid.
Along with the Black Economic Council of MA, the Massachusetts Restaurant Association, and the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, RAM has been selected by National Grid to partner on this important initiative due to our longstanding mission of providing our members with access to meaningful money saving benefits. RAM wishes to thank National Grid for initiating this unique and timely grant program for small businesses and for inviting RAM to take part.
Similar to RAM’s fixed rate electricity supply program, discounted workers compensation group, health insurance cooperative, credit card processing and 401K programs, this grant program is but another example of the value RAM provides its membership and our ongoing efforts to improve their bottom line and increase competitiveness.
Please see below flyer for information regarding eligibility and instructions for completing the online application. Please pay close attention when completing the application form as incomplete applications will not be considered. Also, be advised that the program is being administered on a first come, first served basis, and with 4000 member companies, RAM anticipates grant availability will go quickly.
