Register Now for our Spring 2023 Online Course!

Registration is now open for the Spring 2023 semester course, ECO 611: Offshore Wind Energy – Environmental Impacts, Siting, Permitting, and Stakeholder Engagement. All courses in the program provide opportunities to connect with professionals in the offshore wind industry. The spring course is taught by Max Dilthey, UMass Certificate Program Manager and Lead Renewables Consultant for Xodus Group, and has included industry guest speakers from Mayflower Wind, UMass Dartmouth, and SEARCH.

Students and graduates are well-positioned for jobs in offshore wind and related industries, and many students are already part of the offshore wind workforce. The online, 3-course certificate can be completed in less than a year, covers a broad range of disciplines involved in the industry, and provides students exposure to industry experts, career/internship opportunities, and hands-on learning opportunities.

The three courses that make up the Offshore Wind Professional Certificate can be taken in any order and completed in less than a year. Spots are limited: early registration is strongly recommended.
