AVANGRID is set to host a series of in-person and virtual open houses throughout this fall and into the winter of 2022/2023 to discuss the Commonwealth Wind and Park City Wind projects. For a complete list of these upcoming meetings, please visit CommonwealthWind.com/events and ParkCityWind.com/events.

Both the Commonwealth Wind and Park City Wind projects are slated to be developed in an area approximately 22 miles south of Martha's Vineyard. As part of Commonwealth Wind, a cable landing underneath Dowses Beach in Osterville is being proposed, and Park City Wind will be landing cables underneath Craigville Beach in Centerville.

Commonwealth Wind will deliver a groundbreaking 1,232 megawatts of clean and affordable energy to power 750,000 homes in Massachusetts and cut greenhouse gas emissions by over 2.35 million tons per year, and Park City Wind will deliver 800 megawatts of clean and affordable energy and cut greenhouse gas pollution by over 1.1 million tons per year. Both wind turbines will directly benefit the Town of Barnstable, where AVANGRID will connect the electric cables from the offshore wind turbines to the electrical grid.
