Since 2005, jazz musicians from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Europe have appeared at the annual Provincetown Jazz Festival. The Festival is held in the Oldest Arts Colony in the United States and donates a portion of the proceeds to worthy causes on Cape Cod.
The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod is the regional arts agency for Barnstable County, and has been the Voice of the Arts on Cape Cod since 1988. The AFCC strengthens, supports, and promotes Cape Cod's arts and culture community through grants, professional development, training, collaborative marketing, and advocacy. Founded in 1985, W.H.A.T. is the award-winning non-profit theater on Cape Cod that the New York Times says brought “a new vigor for theater on the Cape” and the Boston Globe says “is a jewel in Massachusetts’ crown.” Boston magazine named W.H.A.T. the Best Theater in 2004 and the Boston Drama Critics Association has twice awarded W.H.A.T. its prestigious Elliot Norton Award. Cape Cod’s favorite regional theater! Cape Rep pursues an exciting thought-provoking mix of contemporary and classic plays and musicals. Now in its 23rd year, Cape Rep has two theatres on over 7.5 acres on the north side of Route 6A in Nickerson State Park.
The Nye Family of America Association, Inc. is an historic non-profit organization with the following interests: First, we preserve, restore, and open to the public seasonally the Benjamin Nye Homestead & Museum. It is the oldest house in East Sandwich, built in 1678 by one of the first settlers of Sandwich. Benjamin Nye (1620-1706) was a farmer, miller, and active citizen.
The setting is perfect, the food delicious, and the hospitality comfortable and warm. The outside terrace and cozy bar area coupled with amazing food and drink provide a perfect dining experience. Celebrity Chef Michele Ragussis took the helm in Feb 2015 and elevated this Provincetown favorite to new heights. Her passion for using local farms & sustainable ingredients shows in her menu of rustic, New England classics. The Central House at the Crown also boasts Provincetown's best and most creative wine list sourced by Restaurant Manager and Sommelier, Peter Miscikoski.

The Crown & Anchor has been home to legendary entertainers for many years, and each season boasts some of the brightest stars Provincetown has ever seen.
The Crown's Broadway Series debuted in 2014, and teach season the lineup is even better than the last. In 2016, the series included concerts by Tony winner Levi Kreis, Lucie Arnaz, sister duo Ann Hampton Callaway and Liz Callaway, Andrea McArdle, Tony winner Randy Graff, and returning favorite Linda Eder. Tony winner Alan Cumming will make his Town Hall debut on July 16.
