Timothy Jon Struna is an established painter and printmaker with a professional career approaching five decades. After graduating from Bowling Green State University in 1969, his time was divided between teaching and studio painting. Although he enjoyed teaching, his goal was to produce art on a full time basis. In 1977 he opened his own studio/gallery in Northeast Ohio and resigned from teaching to devote his energy to painting and printmaking. In 1987 the gallery was relocated to Cape Cod, its new location situated along historic Route 6A in Brewster. In 1998 his daughter opened a gallery on Main Street in Chatham, which shows exclusively his work.
As a longtime award-winning Signature Member of The Copley Society of Boston and The Ohio Watercolor Society, his work is included in both public and private collections all over the world.
