The mission of the MSPCA - Angell is to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty, and work for a just and compassionate society.  The staff and volunteers at the MSPCA-Cape Cod care for more than 1,500 animals brought through our doors annually.  Animals are provided with all the medical and behavioral support possible in addition to enrichment and training activities to help manage their stress levels.  No animal in need is ever turned away at our doors, as we are the only open-admission shelter on Cape Cod.  Areas of our mission include animal adoption, advocacy, and law enforcement, as well as services offered to Cape Cod pet owners, including community outreach/educational programming, rabies vaccine/microchip clinics, low-cost spay/neuter programs, dog training to all new adopters, and a pet food pantry.  We are also building a robust education and public outreach program to help educate the great Cape community on animal welfare and the resources we provide.
