    Meet Cynthia!

Today she is a well-recognized member of the Mashpee community, where she lives, and leads a busy active life there daily. On Mondays she is off to work at CVS as a store associate. The Tuesday feature is her ukulele lesson at the Steeple Street Academy. Wednesday shines for her when she takes part in her second job for MASS (Massachusetts Advocates Standing Strong), weekly research meetings, known as GATOR. Thursday has a highlight all of its own because she goes on hikes with Coach Mo, an amazing fitness trainer. On Fridays she meets regularly with Anne Hitch, her business/art coach. Every week she attends different events from her Esprit social group and also dances with them in their Sunday Players troupe. Singing, art and poetry classes are also intertwined throughout her schedule from time to time.

Did you see the word business? That is From My Heart! that started with her first published book called “A Tale of Two Cynthias.” Her mom Sally edited her collection of poems at the time and matched them to her accomplished artwork. While that goes back quite a few years, she is now hard at work creating new poetry that her mom will match with photos taken both by and of her.

Cynthia currently has her book, notecards and prints for sale at the Art Coddage in Mashpee Commons. She also has published artwork in a children’s book written by Sarah Webb-Quest called “Angel’s Shore.” in addition, she and Anne have all kinds of ideas for new products.
