Osterville's Festival of Trees
On December 7th and 8th, the Osterville Historical Museum will host its 9th Annual Festival of Trees--a silent auction of spectacular holiday trees decorated by local merchants and organizations to benefit the Osterville Historical Museum.
Participants include: Sara Campbell, the Osterville House and Garden, Eden, Amie Bakery, Sotheby's, Peter Hansen Design, Corner Cycle, and Coastal Style. New this year? A wreath designed by local Nantucket basketmaker Lynn Barry. Chances for the door prize will be available throughout the festival.
Held during the Osterville Village Stroll, the weekend festivities are free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, December 7, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 8.
A magical display of over 20 tabletop trees decorated for the holidays will be located throughout the Museum's historic 1820s Captain Jonathan Parker House. Bidding on the trees will be open until the silent auction ends Saturday, December 8th at 3 p.m. Proceeds go to support the Osterville Historical Museum--the home of the Crosby Boats.
