Hydrangeas require very modest amounts of fertilizer but only the right NPK ratios should be used. Bloom color is controllable to a great extent in the species H.macrophylla if done correctly. On Tuesday, July 10, join local author, Joan Harrison, as she shares the best methods for achieving vibrant bloom color. Her book, Heavenly Hydrangeas will be available for purchase and for signing.

The Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival returns, celebrating the iconic plant that makes Cape Cod so stunning in July. See the expanded North American Hydrangea Test Garden, participate in workshops, purchase plants, and tour the garden, which includes over 150 spectacular species and cultivars.
All programs are free with museum admission.
