Garden #1 An Artist‛s Garden Tour
707 Orleans Rd,  North Chatham, MA

A long tree lined driveway leads to the front garden featuring rhododendrons, azaleas, and a variety of hydrangeas and perennials.  Clematis climb over an arbor leading into the Nantucket perennial garden. The backyard continues to display more hydrangeas with a path bordered by begonias leading to a teak bench. An artist‛s cottage nestles in a woodland garden with another path marked with personalized decorative stones.  Hostas and annuals border the gardens along the back and sides. This property contains more than 40 mature trees which define the perennial plantings.
Parking: There are only 3 spots in the driveway in front so please park on Crowell Rd on the side not Rt 28. Directions: Take exit 11 off of Rt 6 and turn left going south onto Rt 137. When you reach Queen Annes Rd, turn left onto it and travel straight through to Old Comers until it connects to Rt 28 across from Ryder’s Cove. Turn Right going up the hill and Crowell Rd is the next Right turn at a blinking yellow light. The house is on this corner so turn onto Crowell road for parking. #707 is on the east side of Crowell Rd.

Garden #2   Relaxation at Ryder‛s Cove Garden Tour
13 Captain’s Cove Lane North Chatham, MA

Since purchasing their Ryder‛s Cove home 9 years ago, the owners have continually expanded, cleared and created new Cape Cod gardens. Built in 1973 as a ranch, this waterside home welcomed its first hydrangea in 2009, along with a bluestone patio. Next came the clearing of a hillside of tangled and overgrown invasives, which became an enchanting side yard with stone walls, hot tub and dining patio.  A recent renovation added a circular drive, vegetable garden, more hydrangeas, roses, and an arbor of wisteria.
Directions: Take exit 11 off of Rt 6 and turn left going south onto Rt 137. When you reach Queen Annes Rd, turn left onto it and travel straight through to Old Comers. At the stop sign turn left onto Training Field Rd. until it connects to Rt 28. Turn Right. Take the next immediate left onto Crow’s Pond Rd. Bear right at the fork onto Seapine Rd. The first right is Captain’s Cove Lane  #13.
Parking: Park in the cul de sac, along Seapine Rd or down the street at Harbor Coves beach parking lot.

Garden #3  A Jewel Unearthed Garden Tour
25 Meadowview Road South Ext. West  Chatham,  MA

Six years ago the home owners removed 30 trees and leveled the land to create a new lawn and garden, transforming the property into a gardener‛s dream. You‛ll discover six varieties of hydrangea from the Macrophylla genus: Nikko Blues, Endless Summer, Masja and Madame Emile Mouillere to Hydrangea Paniculata Lime Light and Arborescens Annabelle which round out the collection. Six foot tall ornamental grasses stand like sentries to welcome you to the colorful 60 foot perennial bed that surrounds the lawn and terrace area.
Directions: Take exit 11 off of Rt 6 and travel south on Rt 137. On Rt 28(at the end of 137) you will turn left towards Chatham. In 1.5 miles, turn Right onto Barn Hill Rd at the Dunkin Donuts and take the first road on the left which is Meadowview Rd, take the first right onto Meadowview Rd South and then right again onto the extension. House is #25. Please park on Meadowview Road, not the extension.
