Mermaid and the Whale Puppet Show

To the Mermaid, nothing would be better than a ride on the Whale's broad back.  To the Whale, nothing would be better than getting the Mermaid off his back.  Adapted from a Wampanoag tale and Georgess McHargue's 'The Mermaid and the Whale',  meet Lobstah, Clammy, Long John, the Mermaid and the famous sea captain from Truro all in this entertaining play ending in Sandwich! Please register online for this puppet show (starting 4/30).  Best for ages 3 years and up. 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM in the Meeting Room.

Race Point Lighthouse: Special Mariner's Day Tour

Race Point Lighthouse, Race Point Beach, Provincetown

Join us for a very special tour on Mariner's Day! The entire Light Station will be open to tour with free transportation and light refreshments provided! Included with interior tours of all the historic structures (lighthouse, keepers house & whistle house) is a complete viewing of the solar and wind electric-generating systems. Also for viewing, the solar thermal system; hot water and central heat from the sun! The tours are free but donations are greatly welcome! From 9am until 2pm, rain or shine, come visit us.

100th Anniversary of the NC4 Flight to Chatham- Sunday Lecture

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the first transatlantic flight that made an important stop in Chatham. Speaker is Dave Crocker. Admission: $10.00, free for current members. Seats are limited and on sale at the event. Be sure to come early to be guaranteed a seat. Doors open at 1:15 pm.
