Master Gardener Association of Cape Cod Garden Tour: Hydrangea Hill at Tilly's Nest

You are invited into the private garden of best selling author, Melissa Caughey. In this rare opening to the public, explore her favorite spaces including one featuring her flock of backyard chickens. Melissa regularly features her outdoor spaces on her social media accounts and has been seen in multiple national print and online publications/websites including HGTV, DIY Network, and Country Living Magazine. Nestled close to the salt marshes of Sandy Neck and tucked within the bucolic landscape of historic 6A, her cottage-style garden is abundant with assorted varieties of hydrangeas, perennials bursting with blooms and raised bed gardens full of vegetables and herbs along with dappled shady woodlands. The gardens are continually evolving and changing. Come and see garden spaces of various ages and what seems to grow best on Cape Cod. Sit for a spell and watch the pollinators, birds and other wildlife in their day-to-day activities. Melissa will be present during the tour. Signed copies of her books along with personalization will also be available for purchase with 10% of the proceeds benefiting the Master Gardeners of Cape Cod.
