Different varieties of ornamental trees, bushes and flowers are displayed on this property. Wintergold White Fir, Weeping Cherry, Eastern Redbud, and Weeping Cyprus are some of the interesting tree varieties. Rhododendron, azalea, whipcord, butterfly bush, and a variety of hydrangea are scattered throughout the property. Numerous perennials, native and pollinators, create beautiful shades of color within the gardens. Lilies, coral bells, cone flowers, black-eyed susans, red cardinal, allium, liatris, and beautiful large red canna lilies in late summer are a few of the many plants to visually enjoy. Metal yard art and driftwood adorn the gardens. Numerous container pots are placed around the grounds, on the deck and porch. Date Open for Tours: July 9th & 10th 2024.

    #2 Bay Winds Gardens
Running along Robbins Hill Road a multi colored patchwork quilt of day lilies and a bank of golden pacific spreading juniper welcomes you to Bay Winds. Stroll this small but fully landscaped park like setting with a charming backyard She Shed bordered by its very own compass rose patio, stacked stone circular flower garden and vegetable patch. Delightful garden vignettes appear among mature cedar, juniper and pine. Stepping stone paths lead to countless varieties of hydrangea bushes, trees and white climbers on a scalloped cedar fence. Pleasing the senses with shades of green and varied leaf textures… flower boxes, containers and garden art complete the experience.
    Date Open for Tours: July 9th & 10th 2024.

The property uses minimal irrigation, no herbicides and, in the vegetable garden, the occasional organic pesticide. In various seasons it is home to a herd of five deer, two mallard ducks, a flock of turkeys, a variety of bees and other pollinators, lots of frogs, peepers and birds, some chipmunks, moles and snakes, and a million rabbits. Date Open for Tours: July 9th & 10th 2024.

The proceeds from the garden tours will benefit the Garden Club of Brewster. Admission:$5 per garden. Rain or Shine
