Eclectic - Located in The Captain’s Village, a whimsical and eclectic garden full of surprises await you! Rocks, stones, and granite are plentiful, being used in edging of my perennial gardens, in keystone granite pieces for raised vegetable plots, and granite sitting benches. A delightful soothing cascading coy pond with a year-round resident frog, “Freddy” who loves to sunbathe on a slab of field stone. Surrounding Freddy’s brick walkway compound, he is engulfed with a Rose of Sharon, lavender, daisies, hostas, strawberries, iris, and other perennials- including a 85 lb. clam shell from shores of Hawaii. Lots of galvanized buckets for perennial plantings. Iron bed frames make up the perimeter of the vegetable gardens. You’ll find many bird baths among the hydrangeas, perennials, Kousa dogwoods and lots of Rose of Sharon’s. Blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry plants are what keep the birds coming back for more. You’ll find little trinkets and creatively upcycled treasures sprinkled throughout the gardens. Come take a peek and soak up ideas for your own gardens!

I am proud to announce my tour will be benefiting The Immune Deficiency Foundation. My Granddaughter, Sadie has Common Variable Immunodeficiency, a disease that affects approximately 2% of the population and prevents her body from producing enough antibodies to fight off infections.  Through the gracious gift of donors, Sadie receives monthly plasma infusions for her compromised immune system at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Admission is $5, Rain or Shine!

    Leashed dogs are welcome.
