A Nursery Woman’s Garden - Garden Tour Benefitting Spohr Gardens

Imagine the fun you would have if the nursery you owned was in your backyard. Reg and Terry Soares had the opportunity to re-imagine their 30-year-old garden when an addition was added to their house. New spaces created the opportunity for stone walls, a shady summer patio retreat, new planting beds and a fountain. The garden is filled with annuals galore, container gardens, a native section and tropicals. A dream come true to be able to play with an unlimited plant selection.

The garden tour is to benefit Spohr Gardens. Spohr Gardens is a six-acre public woodland garden located on Fells Pond Road on Oyster Pond in Falmouth MA. Lovingly created by Charles and Margaret Spohr, the gardens offer winding paths and a succession of colorful flowers from spring through fall. The garden also features a collection of seventy-five millstones and thirteen anchors. The garden is open to the public free of charge.

 Parking: The Soares private garden is located behind Soares Nursery, 1021 Sandwich Road, East Falmouth MA, 02536. Parking is available at the nursery.

All guests should park at the Soares Flower Garden Nursery, located at 1021 Sandwich Road, East Falmouth, MA. Then follow signs directing you through the nusery to the garden. The garden is behind the nursery.
