It’s almost time for the annual Pride Celebration on Cape Cod! Here's a line-up of just some of the fun and uplifting Pride events happening on Cape Cod, where you can show your true colors while celebrating LGBTQ+ awareness, empowerment and diversity.

THURSDAY, JUNE 1
A Night at the Chef’s Table
Some of the best chefs in Provincetown and surrounding towns create special multi-course menus for an intimate evening of food and friends in this 30th annual fundraiser for the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod. For tickets and a listing of participating restaurants, visit asgcc.org/chefs.

FRIDAY, JUNE 2
Pride Bingo at The Governor Bradford
Governor Bradford Restaurant, 312 Commercial Street, Provincetown
Join legendary drag hostesses Roxy Pops & Lakia Mondale at The Governor Bradford for an afternoon of Bingo to celebrate Provincetown Pride! Buy tickets here. 3 to 5 p.m.

‘Pride Queen’ Debut Party
Brass Key Guesthouse, 67 Bradford Street, Provincetown
Raise a toast to the start of Pride Weekend at Happy Hour in Brass Key’s Shipwreck Lounge. A portion of the proceeds of each ‘Pride Queen’ Tito’s cocktail will support The Provincetown Business Guild, organizers of Provincetown Pride. 5 p.m.

First Look Provincetown
Mary Heaton Vorse House, 466 Commercial Street, Provincetown
Preview Summer 2023 designs by Provincetown’s own makers and brands! The night will include a silent auction, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and musical guests, with all proceeds go to Soup Kitchen in Provincetown and Helping Our Women. Hosted by the Provincetown Arts Society at the Mary Heaton Vorse House. 5 to 7 p.m.

Special Pride-Edition Crossing with Bay State Cruise Co.
This special Pride-edition cruise from Boston to Provincetown aboard Bay State Cruise Co. will be sprinkled with Provincetown Pride characters, entertainers & hosts!  Cruise departs Boston at 5:30 pm.

Full Spectrum Pride Kickoff Party at Red Room
Red Room, 258 Commercial Street, Provincetown
Enjoy two floors of parties, pop-up shows and DJs to kick the weekend off strong. Tickets at  https://redroom.club. 10 p.m.

SATURDAY, JUNE 3
Provincetown Pride Festival
Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown
Gather on the East Lawn of Provincetown Town Hall for the PBG’s first-annual Pride Festival! This free event features vendors, music, and more. 1 to 4 p.m.

Pride Rally at Town Hall & ‘Sashay’ to Tea
Gather at 4 pm on the steps of Provincetown Town Hall for a rally structured in the Spirit of Stonewall, with brief remarks and songs celebrating the heart of Pride. The rally will conclude around 4:30 pm with a “Sashay” to Tea over to the nearby dance floor at The Boatslip.

Tennessee Williams Festival – Spring Performance Gala
Harbor Hotel, 698 Commercial Street, Provincetown
Broadway superstar and two-time Tony Award nominee Alison Fraser will headline the event, which will feature live entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auction, and the full fall season production announcement. Tickets at www.twptown.org. 4 to 6 p.m.

Queer Comedy Showcase at Provincetown Town Hall
Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown
The line-up of comedic talent includes Austin Tyler, Sureni Weerasekera, Jared Goldstein and Maddie Wiener. Presented by the Provincetown Business Guild and the Provincetown Pride Center. Doors open at 7 pm.

Official Pride Dance Party at A-House
A-House, 4-6 Masonic Place, Provincetown
Pride Weekend will peak with a dance party at the Atlantic House, one of the first discos in the country! Door cover benefits The Provincetown Business Guild and production of Provincetown's Pride, Carnival, Holly Folly & First Light. 10 p.m.

SUNDAY, JUNE 4
Feet Over Front Street 5K – Pride Run / Walk
Harbor Hotel, 698 Commercial Street, Provincetown
The Provincetown Business Guild’s Feet Over Front Street 5K Run/Walk starts at the Harbor Hotel in Provincetown’s East End and runs the full length of Commercial Street to the Provincetown Inn on the West End of town. Pets and kids are also welcome to participate! Start time is 8:30 am.

Out On The Bay
Wequassett Resort & Golf Club on the Grand Lawn, Harwich
This inaugural Pride-month event celebrates inclusivity, diversity, and awareness throughout the Cape. Out on the Bay is a party spotlighting the unique and powerful LGBTQ+ Cape Cod community through a family-friendly afternoon of food and drink, fabulous drag queens, fair-inspired lawn games, music, performances, and plenty of pride. Noon to 6 p.m.

JUNE 1-30
“Flag In The Map” Pride Exhibition Opening

Provincetown Pride Center, 115 Bradford Street, Provincetown
In 2020, the Gilbert Baker Foundation and ReportOUT put out an open call for photos of people flying their Pride Flags. The resulting images, which came from around the world, were curated for an emotionally powerful book that reaffirms the universal power of the Rainbow Flag to inspire LGBTQ+ people.  A selection of the photographs have been mounted for an impressive public exhibition, which will be on display at the Provincetown Pride Center from June 1–30, 2023.
