Tropical Storm Irene Update: The Coast is Clear

August 29, 2011: The coast is clear on Cape Cod.
According to the Cape Cod Times, fallen tree limbs and downed power lines continue to be an issue on the Cape and Islands this morning in the wake of Tropical Storm Irene. Emergency crew are addressing these issues and working to restore power to homes and businesses without electricity.
Beyond that, the outlook is sunny.
The National Weather Service reports that the current weather prediction for Cape Cod as of Monday morning (8/29/11) is:
Today: Sunny, with a high near 75. West wind between 10 and 13 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 61. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 79. North wind between 5 and 8 mph.
Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 64. Light west wind.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 80. North wind between 7 and 9 mph.
