Cape Cod is New England’s premier sporting destination. We offer sports event planners and promoters an extraordinary array of venues for events, as well as thousands of hotel and motel rooms to accommodate groups and tournaments of all sizes and budgets.
A golfer's dream, Cape Cod's 27 public, daily-fee golf courses and 15 private facilities run the gamut of skill levels, with courses that are pristine, scenic, challenging and fun.
Many don’t know that the Cape has its own "Fields of Dreams." The region boasts the premier NCAA-sanctioned summer baseball league in the country - the Cape Cod Baseball League - with 183 alumni now performing in the major leagues. Cape Cod also hosts the nation’s largest athletic conference, the Eastern College Athletic Conference and a professional soccer team - the Cape Cod Crusaders - past winners of the United Soccer League’s PDL crown.
In addition, Cape Cod & the Islands have been home to traditional sporting events.

The Hyannis Youth & Community Center
Owned and operated by the Town of Barnstable Recreation Division is a state of the art youth and community center at the intersection of Bearse's Way, Bassett Lane and High School Road in Hyannis, Massachusetts, at the former site of the Kennedy Memorial Skating Rink. The 105,000 square foot facility includes the Lyndon P. Lorusso Youth Center with arcade games, ping-pong and pool tables, a 12,000 sq. ft. Gymnasium with an elevated walking track, two full size year-round skating rinks, nine locker rooms, a café operated by Ardeo's Restaurant and all purpose community meeting rooms. Annual memberships are available as well as day passes. Public Skating is available every day year-round! All beach stickers and summer recreation program registrations are also sold at the facility.
