Chatham Anglers Championship Baseball Clinics
One of the best ways for youngsters to improve on their baseball skills and to work up close with Chatham Anglers players is through the Chatham Anglers Championship Baseball Clinic for boys and girls ages 6-17. Each participant receives a free Chatham Anglers Clinic t-shirt!
The program features eight weekly sessions for boys and girls ages 6-17. Anglers players and coaches lead the sessions and are also happy to field questions, sign autographs and pose for photos. Each participant also receives a free Chatham Anglers t-shirt.
Campers may register for a single week, or any series of weeks, but not individual days. Sessions start the week of June 19 and continue through the week of July 31. Sessions runs Monday through Friday, with the exception of July 4th (no clinic on the holiday).
Sessions for children ages 6-8 run from 8:45 AM - 10:15 AM daily and cost $95 per week. Sessions for children ages 9-12 run from 10:30 AM – 12 PM daily and cost $95 per week. Sessions for teens ages 13-17 run from 9 AM – 12 PM and cost $125.
Participants can register on the first day of their camp week by visiting the registration table at Veteran’s Field (1 Veteran’s Field Road). The table is located down the left field line (near Red Nun parking lot) and registration opens at 8 AM each week. A parent or guardian must be present to register a participant. Registration includes payment (cash or check) and a Waiver Agreement, which is available at the field or online at http://www.chathamanglers.com/pdfs/2016_Baseball_Clinic.pdf.
Participants should wear sneakers or cleats (metal spikes are permitted only for the 13+ camp) and must bring their own baseball glove. Bats and baseballs are provided by the team. Bottled water and/or sports drinks are recommended, but not provided.
