The 7th Annual Quahog Day will take place at 3 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2015 at the Flying Bridge Restaurant on Scranton Avenue in Falmouth, overlooking scenic Falmouth Harbor.

The Cape's beloved hard-shelled mollusk - "Doug" - has been the peninsula's little weather soothsayer since 2009. Quahog Day, now a rite of passage into summer on Cape Cod, answers the all-important question “How many weeks of beach weather lie ahead on the Cape?  Doug delivers the official prognostication to his human sidekick, Johnny Quahog, also affectionately known as The Secretary General of Quahog Republic.

Join us to hear Doug's prediction of how many beach days lie ahead for Summer 2015! Doug is thrilled to welcome as this year's emcee Emmy Award-winning 7News TV reporter Nicole Oliverio, who will host the festivities.

During the event, he is escorted by a Quahog Security Detail, a team of black-suited men armed with clamming rakes. Read the stories of Doug's loyal Quahog Security Members.

Quahog Day, which is free to the public and includes plenty of laughs and fun photo opportunities, gets underway at 3 p.m. The festivities will continue after the prognostication ceremony under the outdoor tent at the Flying Bridge, where complimentary chowder will be served and Cape Cod Broadcasting will have music and giveaways
