Cape Cod Local Foods

Whether you are interested in visiting a winery, touring a cranberry bog, or sampling locally grown foods, Cape Cod is rich in its culinary pursuits.

Farmers’ markets selling local produce and seafood are sprinkled across the Cape. Fresh produce, herbs, eggs, lobsters, honey, baked good, jams, jellies, soaps, flowers and wreaths are among the may products for sale. Click here for a map of Cape Cod farms, farmers' markets and flower gardens!

Many Cape Cod restaurants specialize in offering the freshest seasonal local foods, purchased directly from our local growers. Cape Cod Winery, Truro Vineyards and Cape Cod Beer offer tours and tastings, and tours of the Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory draw over 250,000 visitors annually. The Barnstable Association for Recreational Shellfishing offers fun, educational classes on shellfishing and "Clamming for Kids." You can also pick your own strawberries, fresh produce or pumpkins at a local farm.
